Carterdon to Napier
After another crisp cold night we are on our way to Napier. As usual we are driving cross country. We do not meet many cars and the roads are at times in very bad shape. The road has a lot of areas where it was washed out by New Zealand's last bad storm last year.
We are following this road because we want to see the longest name in the world. The google lady can pronounce it, but I stumble (and probably everyone else) after a few consonants.
Please feel free to try to pronounce it. It is located on the West Coast of the North Island, south of Napier.
Right now we are sitting in a parking lot next to the beach and are enjoying a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and some potato chips.
