It is still grey and foggy when we wake up. We drive to the Pancake Rocks. These rock formations are stunning and really look like a stack of pancakes.

The blowhole is also impressive specifically

when the waves from two different entrances crash together and create a fine mist all the way to the path.

Now that we are leaving the West Coast, we can see a little blue sky.

Here is a picture of how the West Coast looks like when the sun is shining and the mountains can be seen.

As we are driving towards Westport, there is all of a sudden a white car driving towards us on our side (wrong side) of the road. In the last minute the other car realizes his mistake.


We make a coffee and Egg Benedict stop in Westport before we head east.

As soon as we leave the Wedt Coast we have blue skies.
