Noosaville to Mapleton to Kondilla Falls to Landsborough

We are on the road again at 8 am. We are doing a 70 km tourist drive of the back country of Noosaville.

First we enjoy a delicious pastry and myself an ice coffee and Peter a cappuccino in Mapleton. Mapleton is a wealthy community on top of a mountain ridge with a stunning view all the way to the ocean.

Thereafter we hike thru the National Rainforest Park to the Kondilla Falls watering hole where we take a refreshing swim. It is very interesting to walk thru the rainforest and see all these huge, very tall and also very old trees covered in vines.

We continue our drive over small country roads towards the famous Irwing Zoo where we find a campground close by. We spend a rainy afternoon reading our books and enjoying a glass of wine.

As you can see, we are not alone. Peter quickly make some friends when he is sharing same of his sandwich.
