Our camper rental company advised us that we have get out of the way of the possible landing of the cyclone. Since all tours to the Whitesand Island have been suspended, we start to drive south. We make a stop in Bowen. Again, an absolute beautiful beach and we are not allowed to swim. Here on the sign below you can actually read how dangerous jellyfish can be.

Australia is home to some of the most poisonous snakes, spiders and jellyfish.

On our drive south we stopped at an information center with a huge mango.

We are told that here, between Bowen and Mackay, we could find mangoes and pineapples. We stop at a small, unassuming store along the road and find the largest and tastiest mangos we ever had.
