Again we get up bright and early for our trip to Magnetic Island. Already at 8 am it's in the high 80's. We are looking for shade wherever we can.

We tried to walk the trail thru the forest where we were supposed to see Koalas in the wild. But it was so hot so we decided to visit the wildlife sanctuary and got to see three Koalas. They are really cute animals. Did you know that they sleep up to twenty hours every day!

The beautiful horseshoe bay was again closed to swimming because of the jellyfish and also because there is a cyclone forming in the Coral Sea and coming this way!!
