We drop off our camper at the mechanic and take the local bus to downtown.

First we take the gondola to the top of the mountain where we have an awesome view over Queenstown and the surrounding mountains.

We hike to the top of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful day and scenery.

When we return town, we make a stop at the Anita gelateria.

The ice creams and sorbets are the best in town.

While we were strolling around town, Peter sees the Shotover tour advertised. After a little hesitation, he signs up for it. But then the reservation lady makes a mistake and makes the reservation for TWO. I am crazy enough to sit all the way in the front. This tour is not on a lake. This tour goes through a gorge up and down a river.

After the first crazy maneuver and spin, I say to the driver that he is crazy. He smiles and says that I have not seen anything yet!! He is right.

Afterwards we keep walking around Queenstown. At the Fergbakery we buy ourselves one of the famous pies and sit outside the bakery, devour them and observe the people walking by.

Fergburger is quite well known and people are waiting in a long line to go taste their burgers .
