Sydney

We get up real early and have a quick breakfast. We want to start our sightseeing early before it gets hot. With the metro and the train we are downtown near the famous Opera House at 8:30 am. We are pleasantly surprised at how well the metro and train system works in Sydney.

There is a huge cruise ship docked right across the Opera Hause. There are not a lot of people out and about yet and we enjoy it.

Next we decide to do a harbor cruise. We have an excellent guide on the boat which explains and shows us the different sites from the water.

Once we are done with the harbor cruise, we do the hop on and hop off bus tour. These two different tours really give us an excellent idea of Sydney. I really like how they have built all these new interesting buildings but at the same time kept a lot of the old, original buildings and renovated them. It gives the city a lot of charm.
