Christchurch to Akaroa

Today we pick up our new home on wheels for the next two months. To our great surprise we get a much bigger campervan which even has a toilet and shower. We are so excited.

When we are doing our food shopping, we meet two Swiss who are from the same neck of the woods where I grew up! Unbelievable. Finally we are on our way to Akaroa.

Google map is already testing Peter's driving abilities on a very steep dirt road.!🤪🤪 From now on, we will no longer choose the shortest way to our destination!!!!

We finally arrive in Akaroa after driving over two mountain passes with very windy roads.
