Senior Tom is off and proposes that we go visit Ballarat which is an old gold mining town which supposedly has a mining shaft you could visit and give you an opportunity to try your luck at washing and finding gold. Peter was super exited 🤪🤪. However, when we get there, a big sign told us "closed Mondays".

Oh well we have a nice lunch in Ballarat and then visited its botanical gardens.

We took the long way home cross country and were just enjoying each other's company.
