Lakes Entrance to Raymond Island to Melbourne

Another cool and refreshing night. Our first stop today is Raymond Island. This island has over 200 free koalas living on it. We are not disappointed, within minutes we find one sitting in an eucalyptus tree and looking down at us.

Then comes the best part of our trip to the

island. A koala is standing on the floor not more than 10 yards from me. It is so cute. It looks at us and then it crosses slowly the street and climbs up another tree.

We see quite a few more koalas sleeping in the trees around us while we walking around the island.

We start driving towards Melbourne. Today is the first time we are having trouble finding a free camp ground. Every thing is full and we decide to drive to our friend's house. We can camp outside their house thankfully.
