Tutukaka to Russell to Paihia

We wake up to a drizzly rainy day. We still continue the road along the ocean.

We can only imagine how these beaches look like when the sun is shining.

We stop in Russell for Fish and Chips and hope

the weather is going to improve. According to the weather app it should have but it did not. We decide to stop in Paihia and make a lazy rest of the afternoon. We hunker down and read our books. It seems that a lot of people seem to have the same idea. A lot of campers are arriving shortly after us.

Later on we enjoy a steak with salad and a glass of wine.
