Miranda to Wellsford

We wake up to a beautiful morning and decide to stay a while before heading north towards Cape Reinga.

As you can see. the low tide is far out. We follow the coastline of the Firth of Thames. New Zealand has some truely beautiful beaches.

We drive thru Auckland. We will be visiting Auckland before we return the campervan.

We stop in Leigh and visit the exhibition of the Marine Reserve of the University of Auckland.

They have a small octopus in a big tank. It was very interesting to observe how it reacts each time I pass his tank. it looks as if it wants to grab me.

If the weather and the ocean would have been a little warmer, I would have gone snorkeling.
