Waihi Beach to Matamata to the Hobbit Movie Set to Miranda

We have reservations for a 12:50 pm tour of the movie set where the Hobbit trilogy was created and filmed. It is a very interesting and fun tour.

Not only do we get to take pictures of the hobbit holes, but last year they also created a complete set of how the hobbits lived, such as living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping quarters, etc. and we are able the walk thru them.

After the tour we continue our way north. We stop in Miranda where we will spend the night together with a bunch of other campers.
