Auckland to Thames

After two and 1/2 rainy days in Auckland we are ready to visit the Cormandel Peninsula.

However, before we get on the road, we are meeting Anita, one of our very first girls working for our bakery. She moved to Auckland some ten years ago. We enjoy a lovely lunch and try to catch up. It was so fun to see her. It feels like we just saw her yesterday.

After a yummy lunch and a delicious desert we said good bye😘😘

We leave Auckland behind us and drive to Thames, at the beginning of the Cormandel Peninsula, where we do one of our last freedom camping.
